Ali Hassan was born in Iraq and studied at the Institute of Musical Studies in Baghdad under the famous oud player Ali Imam. After graduating, he joined the al-Bayariq troupe of the Ministry of Information and Culture. Ali Hassan has his own website, which includes audio/video samples and online oud lessons.
