Viken Najarian

Viken Najarian began playing the oud at an early age under the direction of his grandfather, Dikran, in Beirut, Lebanon. After moving to the United States in 1975, he began an apprenticeship to learn the art of oud building and to continue his study of the instrument. He also studied ethnomusicology at UCLA. He has performed across the United States for more than 10 years. He also has a website, where you can buy his CD or even order one of his ouds.
