Bassem Rizk

Bassem Rizk was born in 1979 in Beirut, Lebanon. He was introduced to the oud by his father and inspired by the Baghdad (Iraqi) school of oud playing exemplified by Serif Muhiddin Haydar, Munir & Jamil Bashir and Salman Shukur. He went on to study at the National Conservatory of Beirut and also developed an oud method.
